Results and discussion

Results:
Following the 168 hours test, a weigh loss of 100% was obtained for the aluminum alloy specimen immersed in the solution.
The corrosiveness of the supplied solution is grade 8.
The high pH of the solution is responsible for this behavior.

Any other information on results incl. tables

The aluminum alloy specimen totally immersed in the solution showed a weigh loss of 100% after test: the solution is grade 8.

The weight losses for steel specimens are lower than those for the aluminum alloy specimens (less than 1%).
