First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air and consult an physician.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush immediately with water, during at least 15 minutes.
Consult a physician if irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing without delay. Wash with water.
Do not reuse clothing before washing.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomitting. Give milk or magnesia. Consult a
physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, CO2, dry chemical
Product arising from burning: CO, CO2, phosphine and/or oxides of phosphorus.

Protective equipment: Wear self-contained, positive pressure breathing apparatus
and full fire-fighting protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear positibe presuure, self-contained respiratory
equipment, coverall and impervious boots. Cover spilled
substance with inert absorbent material, sweep up and handle
as chemical waste. Clean the polluted area with water.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid exposure by application in a closed system. Where a
closed system is not used, good enclosure and local exhaust
ventilation should be provided to minimize exposure. Wear a
full facepiece respirator or chemical splash proof goggles,
where contact with the eye or face may occur.
Storage: Keep packing closed. Keep away from sunlight.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Engineering Measures:
Utilize a closed system process where feasible.
Where this material is not used in a closed system, good enclosure and local exhaust ventilation should be provided to
control exposure.
Respiratory Protection:
For operations where inhalation exposure can occur, use an approved respirator recommended by an industrial hygienist
after an evaluation of the operation. Where inhalation exposure can not occur, no respiratory protection is required.
A full facepiece respirator also provides eye and face protection.
Eye protection:
Prevent eye and skin contact.
Provide eye wash fountain and safety shower in close proximity to points of potential exposure.
Wear eye/face protection such as chemical splash proof goggles or face shield.
Skin Protection:
Prevent contamination of skin or clothing when removing protective equipment.
Wear impermeable gloves and suitable protective clothing.
Additional Advice:
Food, beverages, and tobacco products should not be carried, stored, or consumed where this material is in use.
Before eating, drinking, or smoking, wash face and hands thoroughly with soap and water.
