Description of key information

The partition coefficient of the representative of the Terpene Hydrocarbon Alcohols has been determined as log P = 3.5 - 5.5 at 25°C in a study equivalent to OECD Guideline 117 (HPLC Method). In this study the lower Kow values represent the Alcohol-type, Ketone type and Ether type. The higher log Kow represents the solely hydrocarbon type constituents of which Terpinolene is the key constituent. On the ECHA website the measured log Kow of Terpinolene is between 4.2 and 4.5, with 4.33 as the arithmetical mean value. As for environmental exposure assessment data on Terpinolene will be used, 4.33 is used as key value.
