Methylacetylene (1-Propyne) did not cause an increase in mutations in any strain of Salmonella at any concentration in the absence or presence of metabolic activation ... However, there was a dose dependent increase in the number of mutations in E. coli WP2 uvrA in the absence or presence of metabolic activation.
