Description of key information

The substance is an orange powder at 1013 hPa and 20 °C.


No melting occurs up to 450 °C; exothermic decomposition starts at 380 °C.


The relative density is 1.742 at 20°C; granulometry analysis gave a MMD of 37.948 µm.


The substance is soluble in water, i.e. 39.25 g/l at 20 °C at pH 7.71.


The log Pow at 20 °C and pH 6.7 is -2.23.


The relative self ignition temperature is 332.2 °C


Vapour pressure, surface tension and flash point can be neglected.


Experimentally, the substance resulted as non flammable.


Thermal behaviour and known experience in handling and use indicate the substance as non explosive and devoid of oxidising properties.
