Bioaccumulation: aquatic/sediments:

Using BCFBAF Program (v3.00) model of EPI suite (2018) the estimated bio concentration factor (BCF) for test chemical  is 184.1 L/kg wet-wt at 25 deg. c which does not exceed the bioconcentration threshold of 2000. Therefore it is concluded that test chemical  is nonbioaccumulative in food chain.

Prediction and experimental studies have been reviewed from different sources of test chemical and its structurally similar read across chemical for Bioaccumulation in aquatic organisms endpoint and their results are summarized below.

The first study was done by using BCFBAF Program (v3.00) model of EPI suite (2018) the estimated bio concentration factor (BCF) for test chemical  is 184.1 L/kg wet-wt at 25 deg. c which does not exceed the bioconcentration threshold of 2000. Therefore it is concluded that test chemical is non-bioaccumulative in food chain.

Next study experimental study reviewed from authoritative database (HSDB) in this study the BCF value of test chemical estimated was 3.0 dimensionless by using log Kow of 13.45 and regression derived equation.

In another study the BCF (bioaccumulation factor) value of test chemical was calculated using a log Kow of 3.05 and a regression-derived equation. The estimated BCF (bioaccumulation factor) value of test chemical was determined to be 3 dimensionless.

Last study was also reviewed from authoritative database (HSDB) in this study the bioaccumulation factor (BCF) value was calculated using a logKow of 9.91 and a regression-derived equation. The estimated BCF (bioaccumulation factor) value of test chemical was determined to be 3 dimensionless.

By considering the BCF value all the studies mentioned above the range BCF value of test chemical was 3.0-3.162 which does not exceed the bioconcentration threshold of 2000, indicating that the test chemical is considered to be non-bioaccumulative in aquatic organisms.
