Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
Hydrolysis rate constant of test chemical at pH 8 at 25 deg C was estimtaed to be 6.204E-002 L/mol-sec and half life of hydrolysis at pH 8 was estimated to be 129.295 days and at pH 7 3.540 years. By considering half life value it is concluded that test chemical is not hydrolysable.

Additional information

Prediction and experimental studies have been reviewed from different sources of test chemical and its structurally similar read across chemical for Half life of hydrolysis in water endpoint and their results are summarized below.

In first study the Hydrowin of EPI suite was used for the prediction in this the Hydrolysis rate constant of test chemical at  pH  8 at 25 deg C was estimated to be 6.204E-002 L/mol-sec and half life of hydrolysis  at pH 8 was estimated to be 129.295 days and at pH 7  3.540 years.

Next study was reviewed from authoritative database (HSDB) in this study the base catalyzed second order hydrolysis rate constant was determined using a structure estimation method of the test chemical. The second order hydrolysis rate constant of test chemical was determined to be 0.03L/mol-sec with corresponding half-lives of 7.3 yrs and 266 days at pH 7 and 8, respectively.

Last study was also reviewed from authoritative database (HSDB) in this study the base catalyzed second order hydrolysis rate constant was determined using a structure estimation method of the test chemical. The second order hydrolysis rate constant of test chemical was determined to be  2.9X10-2L/mol-sec with a corresponding half-lives of 7.7 yrs and 280 days at pH 7 and 8, respectively.

By considering the half life of hydrolysis values of all the studies mentioned above it is concluded that the test chemical is not hydrolysable.
