Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Abiotic degradation

The reaction mass has a high water solubility (8 g/L) and the low potential for adsorption to organic soil and sediment particles (log Koc 2.85). Thus, the main compartment for environmental distribution is the water phase. In water the reaction mass is hydrolytically stable.

Biotic degradation

The reaction mass is expected to degenerate ultimately under environmental conditions. Furthermore, bioaccumulation is not expected since all components of the reaction mass have low log Kow values (<3).
