Additional information

Sample started to discolour to brown at 162.7°C and it continued to darken until 208.9°C. Sample formed a few dark brown droplets on the capillary tube wall at 171.7°C which continued to expand slightly for the remainder of the test.

Immediately after sample fully discolouring to dark brown at 209.0°C, the sample was pushed up the capillary tube. This is suspected to be due to the formation of decomposition gases.
