Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
An attempt was made to determine the boiling point via DSC (differential scanning calorimetry).
As a result of the measurement a Tonset of 422.2 °C was found. Decomposition of 1-Ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide occurs before boiling.

Therefore, a determination of the boiling point of 1-Ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide is technically not feasible.

The measurements of indium and zinc after calibration met the validity criteria. Therefore, the result of the study is considered valid.
Executive summary:

The objective of the study was to determine the boiling point of the test substance “1-Ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide” for regulatory purposes.

The boiling point was determined via DSC (differential scanning calorimetry)

Results:

As a result of the measurement a Tonset of 422.2 °C was found. Decomposition of 1-Ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide occurs before boiling.

Therefore, a determination of the boiling point of 1-Ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide is technically not feasible.
