Additional information

Abiotic degradation of Reaction mass of N-(1-oxooctadecyl)sarcosine and N-hexadecanoyl-N-methylglycine (EC 947-850-7) via hydrolysis is not a relevant environmental fate pathway because the substance is readily biodegradable and is thus expected to be rapidly and ultimately eliminated from the aquatic environment. Additional data on phototransformation of the substance in air are not available. However, this is not expected to be a relevant degradation pathway since the substance is not volatile based on the low vapour pressure (7.1E-05 Pa at 20 °C, 1.2E-04 Pa at 25 °C).
