Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Data gathering

Instruments:
The standardised Small Rotating Drum (EN 17199-4:2019) dustiness scale gives separate bands ranging from “very low” to “high” mass-based dustiness.(Schneider and Jensen 2008, Liguori, Hansen et al. 2016)

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The band of “moderate dustiness” ranges from 50 to 500 mg/kg. The CSH nanoform that is traded as powder (dried suspension) has dustiness value in this range with a value of 117 mg/kg.
