Additional information

The water solubility of the test material was investigated in a study which was conducted under GLP conditions and in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 105 and EU Method A.6 using the flask method. All methodology and results were reported in full. The study was therefore assigned a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the principles for assessing data quality as described by Klimisch et al. (1997).

Mixtures of test material and purified water were added to three separate flasks; after preparation, the samples were shaken at approximately 30 °C for 24 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours. After standing at 20 °C for a period of 24 hours, the contents of each flask were sampled, filtered and analysed directly by total organic carbon (TOC) analysis.

Under the conditions of the study, the water solubility of the test material measured as total organic carbon was determined to be less than 0.00409 g/L at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C.
