Description of key information

No potential for bioaccumulation. Due to its inherent chemical-physical properties, such as absence of lipophilicity as well as the capability of the organism to excrete absorbed SiO2 components, bioaccumulation can be disregarded.Magnesium is widespread in living cells and does not bioconcentrate in aquatic organisms As the substance is inorganic, assessment of bioaccumulation is not applicable according to REACH Annex XIII.
