Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Executive summary:

To characterise the particle size distribution of the substance, the analysis was conducted initially using a visual microscope and then more formally using a Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyser. With the latter, the particle size was analysed over the range 0.02 μm to 2000 μm.

The test results indicate that the Volume weighted Mean is 452.349. the Median (d.50) is 426.861, the Mode (μm) is 532.987 and the MMAD is 473.03. 10 % of the material is < 107.394, 50 % of the material is < 426.861, 90 % of the material is < 826.205. All results are in μm. 0.72% by volume of sample was seen to be < 10.00 μm.
