Valid experimental study according to EU Method A.6.(Flask method).
General Physical Chemistry, Schering AG, Berlin, Study report LP31 (APC 28/96), dated 1996-02-22.
Result: S(20) = 1.01 ± 0.07 mg/L

Additional information

The water solubility of hydroxyprogesterone acetate was determined using the flask method at 20°C to be: 

S20 = 1.01 ± 0.07 mg/L

Hydroxyprogesterone acetate can be considered as practically insoluble in accordance with the descriptive term of DAB 10 and USP 23. The pH value of the saturated water solutions was determined to be 6.0.
