Additional information

There are no experimental nor literature toxicological data available on TATD-CLE.

The irritating potential (both eye and skin) was evaluated using the estimation tool Qsar Toolbox 3.1.0.021: no alerts were predicted.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to CLP regulation (EC1272/2008), 3.2 Skin corrosion/irritation section, skin Irritation means the production of reversible damage to the skin following the application of a test substance for up to 4 hours. No experimental data are available on the skin irritating potential, therefore it was evaluated using an estimation tool. On the basis of the structure, no reasons of concern were indentified.

According to CLP regulation (EC1272/2008), 3.3 Serious eye damage/eye irritation section, eye irritation means the production of changes in the eye following the application of test substance to the anterior surface of the eye, which are fully reversible within 21 days of application. Also in this case there are no available experimental data, thus the eye irritating potential was evaluated using an estimation tool that did not revealed any alerts.

In conclusion, according to CLP regulation (EC1272/2008) TADT-CLE is not classified as skin/eye/respiratory irritant.
