The first endothermic event was suspected to be melting temperature and the onset was at -16.94°C. The second endothermic event was suspected to be caused by moisture evaporation. However, the sample did not boil at this event. Sample decomposed with the onset temperature of >102.21 ºC.

Conclusions:
In a Diffential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) test, conducted according to OECD test guideline 103 and to GLP, a decomposition temperature of >102.21°C was determined for Coffee, bean, roasted ext.
Executive summary:

A Diffential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) test, conducted according to OECD test guideline 103 and to GLP, was performed to determine the boiling point and / or the onset temperature and magnitude of any exothermic activity for Coffee, bean, roasted, ext.

A sample of Coffee, bean, roasted, ext, was charged to an aluminium DSC crucible, which was then sealed and placed in the furnace. The sample was then ramped from -40ºC to 500ºC at 10 K/min.

A decomposition temperature of >102.21°C was determined for Coffee, bean, roasted, ext.

Description of key information
