Additional information

One valid key study is available to assess the water solubility of the substance. This study was performed according to OECD Guidelines 105, Column elution method, with GLP statement.

A solution of the test substance is prepared by dissolving 50 mg of the test item in 100 mL of dichloromethane. A volume of 50 mL of this solution is transferred to a 100 mL flask containing 5 g of glass beads support and the mixture is shaken during 2 hours. 600 mg of coated glass beads were weighed and poured into each column that has been filled with 5 mL of ultrapure water. The circulating system was then activated in order to flow the water in the system during 2 hours. All the system was thermostated to 20 +/- 0.5 °C. Then the water phase was eliminated and 25 mL of water were added into each column and circulated at flow rates of 25 and 12.5 mL/h through the system. The first 12.5 mL were discarded and after 15 min, a sample was collected. Then each hour, a sample of water was collected and pH was measured.

During the analysis, the temperature was 20.5°C and the mean value of pH was 6.5 -7. As required by the Guideline, equilibrium was reached as concentrations from 5 successive samples did not differ by more than 30 %. The water solubility of the test substance is 121.6 µg/L.
