Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Adsorption of epoxiconazole to solid phase is expected.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
905.9

Additional information

Three studies on the soil adsorption and desorption of epoxiconazole are available (Ochsenbein, 1988; Secher, 2002 and BASF AG, 2005).

The GLP study conducted according to OECD guideline 106 is a key study, since this is the newest study performed with five diferent soils. The log Koc of radiolabeled epoxiconazole was determined in this study. A HPLC estimation method was used in this study. The Koc was estimated to be in the range between 945 and 2451 L/kg (Log Koc: 3-3.4, BASF AG, rep.no.: 1012874, 2005).

A summary table of all obtained adsorption endpoints for epoxiconazole can be found in the table below:
