Description of key information

The vapor pressure of diisopropyl peroxydicarbonate in ethyl acetate cannot be determined at 20°C since it decomposes.

Nevertheless, to perform measurements by static method on the commercial grade (diisopropyl peroxydicarbonate in diallyl 2,2'-oxydiethyl dicarbonate) starting from low temperature (-15°C) allowed to determine a Clausius-Clapeyron equation from which vapor pressure values could be extracted for specific temperatures.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
1 710 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C
