Results and discussion

Vapour pressure
Key result
Temp.:
20 °C
Vapour pressure:
< 6.7 Pa
Remarks on result:
not determinable because of methodological limitations
Remarks:
The experimentally determined vapour pressure of the test item at 20°C of <<1 mbar (2.7*10E-4 mbar) is not in the recommended range of 1 to 1000 mbar for DSC-measurements.
Vapour pressure at 50°C (if relevant for classification of gas under pressure)
Vapour pressure:
< 64 Pa
Remarks on result:
other: Calculation is based on the lowest possible boiling temperature (Grain Watson estimation).

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The study was performed according to EU method A.4 under GLP on the substance to be registered itself, the test procedure is well documented and therefore reliability of Klimisch 1 has been assigned. The test item Amine neutralized phosphoric acid butyl esters has a vapour pressure of 6.6*10E-5 atm (< 6.7 Pa; <6.7*10E-2 mbar) at 20 °C and of < 6.3*10E-4 atm (< 64 Pa; 6.4* 10E-1 mbar) at 50°C (the calculation is based on the lowest possible boiling temperature) (Grain Watson estimation). The experimentally determined vapour pressure of the test item Amine neutralized phosphoric acid butyl esters at 20°C of << 1 mbar is not in the recommended range of 1 to 1000 mbar for DSC measurements.
Executive summary:

Amine neutralized phosphoric acid butyl esters has a vapour pressure of 6.6*10E-5atm (< 6.7 Pa; <6.7*10E-2 mbar) at 20 °C and of < 6.3*10E-4 atm (< 64 Pa;6.4* 10E-1mbar) at 50°C(calculated), determined in a study according to EU method A.4 under GLP using DSC measurements.
