Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Endpoint:
vapour pressure
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
2018
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 104 (Vapour Pressure Curve)
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:
effusion method: Knudsen cell
Key result
Temp.:
25 °C
Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
Conclusions:
The vapor pressure of the SCLAREOLIDE extrapolated at 25ºC is 1.7536 x 10-6 Pa.
Executive summary:

The vapor pressure of SCLAREOLIDE was determined by the Knudsen cell method. This is based on the estimation of the mass of test substance leaving per unit time of a Knudsen cell in the form of steam through a micro-hole under ultra-vacuum conditions, where the mass of effusive steam is obtained by determining the mass loss of Knudsen.
