Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Remarks:
For all: Linearity of detector response/concentration in the range of 0.10-1.0 mg/L. For pH: second-order behavier. At pH 7 & 9: First-order behavior with correlation coefficents (r2) ≥ 0.998
Conclusions:
The source test item was found not to hydrolyse neither at pH 4; 7 nor 9. The half-life is expected to be greater than 1 year at 25 ºC.
Remark: the test solution contains NaOH due to the production method.

Due to the similarity of the target substance, SBP1-Na and the source substance, IBP1-Na, the result of this study is assessed to be adequate in order to fulfill the requirements of REACH. The read-across approach is further described in the document “Justification of read across from CAS No 53378-51-1 IBP1-Na (source) to CAS No 33619-92-0, SBP1-Na (target)” attached in “Point 13 Assessment reports”.
Executive summary:

The test was performed according to the OECD guideline 111 under GLP compliance. The test item was found not to hydrolyse neither at pH 4; 7 nor 9. The half-life is expected to be greater than 1 year at 25  ºC.

Description of key information
