Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Endpoint:
vapour pressure
Type of information:
calculation (if not (Q)SAR)
Remarks:
Estimated by calculation
Adequacy of study:
supporting study
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: EPI Suite™ is an acknowledged estimation program from the United States Environmental Protection Agency. In addition, EPI Suite™ has undergone detailed review by a panel of EPA’s independent Science Advisory Board (SAB)
Temp.:
25 °C
Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
Remarks on result:
other: Modified Grain Method Estimated value from EPI Suite 4.11
Conclusions:
Estimated value 2.74E-006 Pa at 25 °C (Modified Grain Method)

Description of key information

The result is calculated using EPI Suite.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The experimental result emerged while using an instrument that was not able to measure below 10 Pa. Since the substance is a salt in an aqueous solution it was assumed the vapour pressure would be much below this and therefore a calculation was performed with EPI SuiteTM. This result is considered reliable and is used for further assessment.
