Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
The particle size distribution of Formaldehyde, oligomeric reaction products with acetone and diphenylamine was determined by sieving. The results are given in the table. In the receiver pan (i.e. the fraction < 100 μm), 0.9% test item was collected.
Executive summary:

The aim of the test was to determine the particle size distribution of the formaldehyde, oligomeric reaction products with acetone and diphenylamine using sieve analysis (dry sieving). Study was conducted according test guideline:

CIPAC method MT 59 “Sieve Analysis”, CIPAC Handbook Volume F, Physico-Chemical Methods for

Technical and Formulated Pesticides, 1995.

In conclusion 84.3% volume of the test substance was found to be > 2000 μm

Description of key information

Dry sieve analysis showed that 84.3% volume of the test substance was found to be within the > 2000 μm range
