- Pregnant female rats were exposed in utero once a day from day 9- 16 of gestation to a mixture of 18 toxicants (1x the acceptable daily intake) to examine the effect on mammary gland histology. One component of the mixture was 1,2,3-trichlorobenzene. Only mild histological changes were found in mammary glands of the rats.
