Additional information

Based on a read-across approach with an analogue substance, the registered substance is considered readily biodegradable and therefore not persistent. In addition, the registered substance is considered low mobile in soils (according to P.J. McCall et al., 1980) with a mean Koc predicted at 1 184 L/kg (log Koc = 3.07) and is not considered bioaccumulable for the PBT criteria based on the log Kow, determined at 3.43 for the registered substance.

Based on chemical similarity between the analogue substance and the registered substance (isomers with different position of the alkyl group), no significant difference is anticipated with the present dossier substance, so the read-across is considered justified.
