A small response at the retention time of the test substance was detected in the chromatogram of the pretreated samples from the blankaqueous phase. Taking the dilution factors into account, the maximum contribution of the response to the test samples was 0.043%. It was considered not to have significant effect on the study results.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
In a GLP-compliant study in accordance with EC A.8, OECD 107 and EPA OPPTS 830.7550 using the shake-flask method, the log Pow of the substance at pH 7 and 20°C has been determined as -3.0 (Pow= 1.0E-03). Because the log Pow is outside the range of applicablity of the shake-flask method (-2 to 4), the log Pow will be reported as < -2.
