Administrative data

First-aid measures

As a general rule, in case of doubt or if symptoms persist, always call a doctor.
NEVER induce swallowing in an unconscious person.

- In the event of exposure by inhalation:
In the event of heavy inhalation, take the patient to fresh air and keep him warm and quiet

- In the event of splashes or contact with eyes:
Rinse at once with water, carry on during at least 15 minutes, also under the eyelids. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist

- In the event of splashes or contact with skin:
Take off at once the soiled clothes. Wash with soap and water. Seek medical advice if a problem persists

- In the event of swallowing:
If the ingested quantity is low, rinse the mouth with water and, if the patient feels unwell, refer to a doctor

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media:
Carbon dioxide (CO2) - Foam - Dry chemicals

Special protective equipment for fire-fighters:
In case of abundant fumes, fire fighters must use self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Environmental precautions:
Contain and control the leaks or spills with non-combustible absorbent materials such as sand, earth, vermiculite, diatomaceous earth in drums
for waste disposal.
Prevent any material from entering drains or waterways.

Methods for cleaning up:
Clean preferably with a detergent, do not use solvents.

Handling and storage

- Handling:
Handle in well ventilated areas.

- Fire prevention:
Prevent access by unauthorised personnel.

- Recommended equipment and procedures:
Every opened packing must, as far as possible, be entirely emptied

- Storage:
Ground of buildings must be impervious and build an hoding back basin to avoid liquid leakage outside in case of accidental overflow

Exposure controls / personal protection

Use personal protection equipment as per Directive 89/686/EEC.

- Technical measures:
Personnel shall wear regularly laundered overalls.

Stability and reactivity

The preparation is stable at the handling and storage conditions described above.

- Hazardous decomposition products:
By burning : carbon mono- and di-oxides

Disposal considerations

Do not pour into drains or waterways.

- Waste:
Recycle or dispose of waste in compliance with current legislation, preferably via a certified collector or company.
Do not contaminate the ground or water with waste, do not dispose of waste into the environment.

- Soiled packaging:
Empty container completely. Keep label(s) on container.
Give to a certified disposal contractor.
