Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

At room temperature the vapour pressure of diisobutyl phthalate is very low.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
11.2 Pa
at the temperature of:
100 °C

Additional information

Experimental data is available for this endpoint.

Potin-Gautier (1982) reported the vapour pressure of diisobutyl phthalate to be 0.084 mm Hg (11.2 Pa) at 100°C. This is used as a key study.

IPCS (2006) report a vapour pressure of 0.01 Pa at 20°C. This is used as a supporting study.

Both these results suggest that the room temperature vapour pressure of diisobutyl phthalate is very low.

An extrapolated result from Deza (2009) estimates the vapour pressure to be 57 Pa at 20°C. This is used as a supporting study.
