Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Key result
Relative self-ignition temperature:
> 200 °C
Remarks on result:
other:
Remarks:
at atm. press. of ca. 1013.0 hPa

Any other information on results incl. tables

When stored at 200 °C, the sample showed weak self-heating and reached a maximum temperature of 215.2 °C 113 minutes after temperature equalisation (which took 3.3 h).

The self-ignition temperature is therefore given as > 200°C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The substance showed weak self-heating when stored at 200 °C in a 1 L basket.
Executive summary:

The test substance showed weak self-heating in a hot storage test with a 1 L basket. When stored at 200 °C, the maximum temperature reached was 215 °C (increase of 15 °C) and the self-ignition temperature is given as > 200 °C.
