medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water. If irritation develops, seek

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of nitrogen and

carbon together with soot and chlorine compounds.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing, see 2.3.1.

For dry residues, collect and discharge by incineration in a

suitable plant, avoid dust formation. For spillage of an

aqueous dispersion, absorb with adequate absorber and

discharge by incineration in a suitable plant.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery for recycling is not reasonably practical.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None known

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incinerate at high temperatures, in excess of 1200 deg C, at

a suitable facility. Use a long residence time to ensure

complete combustion. Waste gas treatment to remove oxides of

sulfur and nitrogen as well as halogenated compounds should

be fitted. (A663)

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance only enters the public domain as part of an

article. Recovery for reuse is not possible.

Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable, the substance is incorporated in an article.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction - others: The substance will only enter the public domain in the form

of dyed articles which can be disposed of in usual domestic

waste.
