- Experimental study planned: the substance is registered at Annex IX. Testing for toxicity to soil microorganisms is an Annex IX requirement and, currently, no toxicity to soil microorganisms data are available. An OECD 216 test is therefore proposed. Prior to conducting the full study, a feasibility study should be carried out to ensure that the soil can be dosed at suitable concentrations, due to low water solubility of the parent substance and the potential for condensation reactions of the silanol hydrolysis product.
