First-aid measures

Skin contact:
Immediately wash affected area with soap and water. Do not use organic solvents. Seek medical advice if irritation develops.

Eye contact:
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of clean water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice if irritation develops.

Inhalation:
Remove patient to fresh air. In case of respiratory system or mucous membranes, or if you feel unwell or in case of prolonged exposure, get medical attention.

Ingestion:
Do not induce vomiting because of risk of aspiration into the lungs. If aspiration is suspected obtain immediate medical attention. Rinse mouth with water (do not swallow).

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media:
Carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder, alcohol or polymer foam, carbon dioxide or dry agents

Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons:
Do not use a straight stream of water.

Smoke, fumes, oxides of carbon

Special protective equipment for fire fighters:
Firemen should wear normal protective equipment (full bunker gear) and positive-pressure self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:
Clean-up personnel should wear protective clothing and equipment to prevent inhalation of mist and skin and eye contact. Remove all sources of ignition.

Environmental precautions:
Do not allow entering public sewers and watercourses.

Methods for cleaning up:
Large spill: Eliminate all sources of heat and ignition. Carefully collect the spilled material and place in a bucket.
Small spill: Carefully collect the spilled material and place in a bucket. The area should be thoroughly cleaned.

Handling and storage

Handling:
Utilise recommended protective equipment. Use with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after handling.

Storage:
Keep away from heat sparks, open flames, and detective electrical wiring or equipment, etc. Store in a cool place.
