Conclusion on classification

In the short-term aquatic toxicity tests conducted for 2 trophic levels (i.e. invertebrates and algae), Daphnia magna was the most sensitive with an 48h-EC50 of 0.42 mg/L. Concerning the long-term aquatic hazard, the test substance was not rapidly biodegradable and the 72h-EC10 for growth rate reduction obtained in the algae test was 0.21 mg/L.

In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP), the test material is classified as:

- category Acute 1 for acute (short-term) aquatic hazard;

- category Chronic 1 for long term aquatic hazard. 17442
