Additional information

In aquatic studies, the most sensitive species is algae, with an ErC10 of 0.0095 mg/L, which is used to determine the PNEC for aquatic organisms. Based on the available acute data Fish are clearly less sensitive to the test substance with an LC50= 0.431 mg/L.

The PNEC sediment (freshwater) is based on the 28 d NOEC value of 320 mg/kg sediment dw from a study with Chironomus riparius applying an AF 100 in accordance with ECHA Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment Chapter R10.

The PNEC sediment (marine water) is based on the 10 d NOEC value of 127.14 mg/kg sediment dw from a study with Corophium volutator (considering that a long-term study with a freshwater species is also available) applying an AF 1000 in accordance with ECHA Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment Chapter R10.

In terrestrial studies, no effects were observed in the acute study performed with earthworm or in the chronic/(sub)chronic studies with soil micro-organisms or the plants when tested at limit test concentration of 1,000 mg a.i./kg soil dw.
