Description of key information

The sample shows neither without nor with air any peak between room temperature and 150°C.

Additional information

The heat of decomposition is greater than 300 J/g and the onset temperature is less than 200 °C at DSC analysis. Therefore according to transport regulations further tests are required. A second determination has been done after storage at 75°C over a periode of 7 days. No variation in onset temperature and exothermic released heat had been determined. The onset temperature is still at 185°C after a periode of 7 days. On the basis of the test results a SADT test is scientifically unjustified.

Justification for classification or non-classification

On the basis of the test results the substance is not considered to exhibit a danger of self-reactivity in the sence of the directive.
