Additional information

No studies are provided for the endpoint 'effects on terrestrial organisms' for the following reasons:

According to Annex IX, Section 9.4, column 2 of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH), short-term terrestrial toxicity testing shall be proposed by the registrant if the results of the chemical safety assessment indicates the need to investigate further the effects of the substance on terrestrial organisms .The chemical safety assessment concludes that the substance is not classified and is of no immediate concern to the environment. The available data is adequate for classification and labelling purposes and PBT assessment is not required for inorganic substances. Further, aluminium metaphosphate is considered to be insoluble in aqueous media and as such would not be considered to be a risk to the terrestrial environment. Therefore further testing is deemed to be scientifically unjustified.
