Exposing test substance to thermal stress did not result in an explosion or vigorous reaction. None of the test tubes had burst into fragments.

When dropping 10 kg mass from 0.4 meter height on the test substance (mechanical sensitivity by shock), no (traces of) vigorous reactions were observed. The test substance formed a white solid pellet.

Exposing test substance to mechanical stress by friction did lead to a discolouration: the test substance decomposed into a black residue, probably caused by the released heat coming from the friction between the two porcelain surfaces. Sparks but no fire, smoke or crepitation were observed in each of the six tests. The sparks were probably caused by friction between the porcelain peg and plate and not by reaction of the test substance. Because no vigorous reaction was observed, the test substance should not be considered as explosive.
