- JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVINGThe registrant has been manufacturing the substance for many years (e.g. 1,500 batches manufactured via distillation per year). As the substance can not be distilled at atmospheric pressure without decomposition resulting in extensive polymerisation, distillation is carried out under reduced pressure (0.3 mbar) and a temperature of 110 °C. Even under these conditions, however, some polymerisation still occurs. Differential Scanning Calorimetry data shows clear onset of decomposition at 152 °C.
