nitrogen and boron together with hydrogen fluoride and some

soot.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus and PVC protective

clothing should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear appropriate protective clothing, see 2.3.1. Brush up,

take up using industrial vacuum. Place in suitable labelled

containers and dispose of by incineration

in accordance with local regulations.

Handling and storage

Handling: Observe the usual precautions for handling organic

chemicals. PVC gloves (type CE94,area of protection code

P713), an air hood (Plysu product code: FAA000014001100) and

disposal overalls (type CE95 0120, type 5 protection) should

be worn. Observe good industrial hygene practice to minimise

exposure.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery for recycling of the substance is not feasible. It

may be feasible to recycle the hydroxybenzotriazole part of

the molecule.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None known.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended, the substance should not be discharged to

landfill, sea or rivers.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration at a licensed facility with flue gas scrubbing

to remove oxides of nitrogen and hydrogen fluoride fumes.

(A661)

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable, the substance will not enter the public

domain.
