Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove from exposure and move to fresh air immediately. Get
medical aid.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids.
Get medical aid.
Emergency measure - Skin: Flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes
while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical
aid.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: In case of ingestion rinse mouth with water and drink 2-4
cupfuls of milk or water. Get medical aid.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, dry chemical or chemical foam.
Product arising from burning: Probable products of pyrolysis: carbon monoxide, carbon
dioxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrogenchloride.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear breathing apparatus in fire.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: No special procedure to neutralise the adverse effect has
been specified.
In case of incidental spillage, sweep cautiously the spilled
material and collect it in a suitable, rigid container. The
spilled material can be returned to the notificator to be
re-processed or disposed of by incineration. The incinerator
must have approval/ certificate permitting it to incinerate
chlorinated compounds.
Handling and storage
Handling: When using do not eat, drink and smoke. Avoid contact with
eyes and skin. Avoid generating dusty conditions.
Avoid injection and inhalation. Use Personal protective
equipment (rubber gloves, safety googles, respirator).
Vacuum or sweep spilling material and than place into
suitable disposal container. Avoid release to the environmen
t.
Storage: The material store in a cool and dry place. Store in a
tightly closed containers. Do not store in direct sunlight.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: For shipping to the customer the product is packaged in
steel drums N216 with PE insert. Net weight 90 kg. This
package is safe for ground transport.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: The substance is relatively thermally and chemically stable
at ambient conditions. It can be heated safely up to 150
degC (melting point). Not flammable material, but exposed to
fire it can release toxic gases decomposition products.
Chemical reaction with water: No reaction.
Dust explosion: The test "Explosive properties" including explosivity by
shock, heating and friction was performed and no explosive
properties were observed.
