Description of key information

Testing on hydrolysis is not required. According to the REACH Regulation, Annex VIII, column 2 the study does not need to be conducted if the substance is readily biodegradable.

Additional information

Handbook data describe that the read-across source compound hydrolyses under both acidic and alkaline conditions. Transformation products are sophorose and deacetyled free acids.


This information is used in a read-across approach in the assessment of the target substance.
