Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A GLP acute study was performed with Daphnia magna according to Guideline for testing chemicals EG-1 EPA (Daphnid acute toxicity test) which is similar to the OECD Guideline 202. The test item concentrations were analytically verified. The resulting 48- h EC50 value of 8.69 mg/L indicates that the compound is acutely toxic to aquatic invertebrates (BASF AG, 1990; report no. 1/0691/2/89 -189061).

Therefore, it could be considered that based on the available experimental data epoxiconazole is acutely toxic to aquatic invertebrates.
