Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The particle size distribution of the Substance was determined to be

<4 μm: 0.00 vol%       <10 µm: 0.00 vol%       <100 µm: 100 vol%

d(0.1): 6.58 - 6.93 μm

d(0.5): 13.82 - 14.56 µm

d(0.9): 26.83 - 29.10 μm

Additional information

Two non-GLP studies were conducted similar with the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals 110 using the Laser diffraction method according to ISO 13320.
The study determined the particle size distribution to be:

<4 μm: 0.00 vol%       <10 µm: 0.00 vol%       <100 µm: 100 vol%

d(0.1): 6.58 μm d(0.5): 13.82 µm d(0.9): 26.83 μm

and

<4 μm: 0.00 vol%       <10 µm: 0.00 vol%       <100 µm: 100 vol%

d(0.1): 6.93 μm d(0.5): 14.56 µm d(0.9): 29.10 μm

Both studies are the same range an regarded to be reliable for the substance.
