Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Developmental work indicated that the entire particle size range would be covered by using the 30 μm and 140 μm orifice tubes.

The test substance had a particle size distribution between 0.7 and 79 μm equivalent spherical diameter.

The pH of the electrolyte was 5.38 at a temperature of ca 24 °C.

When observed under a microscope, the test substance appeared to be rectangular crystals and exhibited a large variation in size.

Conclusions:
The proportion of particles with an aerodynamic diameter less than 10 μm is 25 %.

Description of key information

The proportion of particles with an aerodynamic diameter less than 10 μm is 25 % (OECD guideline 110).
