Executive summary:

This study was performed to determine the boiling point / boiling range of N,N-Di (2-Hydroxyethyl) Glycine, Sodium Salt, Aqueous Solution according to OECD 103. The study was conducted in compliance with the OECD Principles of GLP (1998). The boiling point/boiling range was determined using Siwoloboff method. The experiment was carried out in three replications. The mean boiling point of (N,N-Di (2-Hydroxyethyl)Glycine, Sodium Salt, Aqueous Solution was 108.27ºC.

Description of key information

The boiling point/boiling point range of DHEG sodium salt 40% aqueous solution was determined using Siwoloboff method according to OECD 103 and GLP. The mean boiling point of test item was 381.42 ± 0.12 K (108.27 ± 0.12 °C) at normal atmospheric pressure (760 mm Hg).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
381.42 °C
