Additional information

Evaporation of fatty acids fatty acids C18-C22 (even numbered), tetraesters with pentaerythritol to the atmosphere is not expected due to the low vapour pressure of the substance (VP < 0.0001 Pa at 25 °C). Thus, indirect photodegradation is no relevant degradation pathway for the substance since it is not likely to be present in the atmosphere. Abiotic hydrolysis is considered as not relevant for the substance. This is supported by the calculated half-live of > 1 year (pH 7, HYDROWIN v.2.00) for the substance.
