Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

The auto-ignition temperature was situated between 302°C and 260°C (corrected values). This range is given for information; the final result is given by the main test in following section.

Main test:

Volume of test item injected in the oven                    70µL

Only the runs with an auto-ignition observed for each assay are summarised in the following table:

Conclusion:

The lowest value of the main test series was 261°C ± 3°C (corrected temperature) and the auto-ignition temperature of the test item was 260°C (reduced down to the next lower multiple of 5°C).

Conclusions:
An auto-ignition temperature value of 260 ± 3°C was determined for the substance using a relevant test method. The result is considered to be reliable.

Description of key information

Auto-ignition temperature: 260 ± 3°C (EU Method A.15)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
260 °C

Additional information

An auto-ignition temperature value of 260 ± 3°C at 1013 hPa was determined for the substance using a relevant test method and in compliance with GLP. The result is considered to be reliable.
